After attending the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) and Minnesota Council for Foundations (MCF) joint conference (joined together, not a conference about joints!) Doug, thanks for letting us know about this. The site looks great. I'll pass this on to all of my fb friends. giveMN is a brilliant concept for small nonprofits.
Another note -- Jane teaches at Harbor City International School here in Duluth and I can see a great opportunity for both e-Quip Africa and the school to work together.
Darin Bergsven, the music teacher, has for years been leading a west African drum group at the school. He even has a class called "Groovin' in Ghana.
It could be as simple as a school and community presentation in Duluth with you and the drum group, to an ongoing relationship with the school with a service learning component that might even include travel to Ghana with a few (trusted) seniors. For example -- there's also a tech club/class at the school that could plug in on the hardware-gathering side of things.

Wow... only took me 5 months to see this comment. Guess I need to make blogging in full a priority. My webmaster, Tyme, told me long ago to be more diligent, but... Mexico and NYC have been on my mind as of late.
I need to call you and Jane to see what we can cook up. At the very least we could get a tax-deductable trip to Duluth out of it!
